Hier haben wir von den Brühlschen Terrassen aus die Münzgasse mit dahinterliegendem Neubau der Frauenkirche skizziert (Baukosten: 182,6 Millionen €).

Here we have the view from the Bruehl terraces to the Muenzgasse.

1858 Plochingen und Kloster Maulbronn

Wegen vieler Staus und einem wichtigen Termin in München schafften wir es am Abend nur bis Plochingen in Schwaben. Ein kleiner Ort direkt am Neckar, der allerdings (unverständlicherweise) vom schönen Neckar durch eine hässliche Bundesstraße und die Eisenbahnlinie abgetrennt wird.
Am Kloster Maulbronn machten wir eine notwendige Rast.

Plochingen and Maulbronn Monastery
Because of many traffic jams and an important meeting in Munich we only made it up to Plochingen in Swabia. A little place right on the Neckar, which, however, (inexplicably) is separated from the beautiful Neckar by an ugly main road and the railway line. At Maulbronn we made a necessary rest.

Nach einem gutem Frühstück ging's Richtung Berger Alm zum Wandern, Sonne tanken und Skizzieren.

After a good breakfast we went towards Berger Alm for hiking, soak up the sun and sketching.

Heißt wahrscheinlich so etwas wie Schutzhütte. Unterhalb des Wildkogelhauses gelegen, können sich dort die Kühe unterstellen. Und wir können's skizzieren. Wer Lust hat, kann das auch gemeinsam mit mir im Juni 2017 in der Wildkogel-Akademie machen :)

Does probably mean something like shelter. Located at the foot of the Wildkogel house, the cows are standing there in case of bad weather.And we can sketch this. Anyone who's interested can also do this together with me in June 2017 @ the Wildkogel Academy :)

Auf dem Arnoweg ging es gestern vom Wildkogelhaus aus auf den Frühmessergipfel. Das Wetter ist super und wir erholen uns gar nicht, weil wir ständig in der schönen Gegend rumlaufen.

Yesterday, we went on the Arnopath from the Wildkogelhaus to the summit of the "Frühmesser". The weather is great and we did not recover, because we are constantly running around in this beautiful area.
