Today on Rose Monday, large parts of the country are again in a state of emergency. Have fun and greetings from the Diaspora Hannover. These kind of masks have their origin rather in the south of Germany.

Aujourd'hui, lundi des roses, de grandes parties du pays sont à nouveau en état d'urgence. Amusez-vous bien et recevez les salutations de la diaspora de Hanovre. Ces types de masques ont plutôt leur origine dans le sud de l'Allemagne.

Wieder ein bisschen grafischer als sonst. Macht aber mittlerweile einen Riesenspaß, mal etwas linearer zu arbeiten. Doch keine Angst, demnächst geht es auch wieder weiter mit "malerischen" Werken.

Welche mögt ihr lieber - meine grafisch-realistischeren oder die malerisch-abstrakteren Bilder?

Catching Fish

Am Mittwoch war ich mit den Mittwochssketchies im Niedersächsischen Landtag. Nach dem Umbau (von 2014-2017) war dies mein erster richtiger Besuch hier. Alles ist sehr schön hell und freundlich geworden. Weniger muffig und kistenartig, als es der Nachkriegsbau war. Es gab eine sehr nette und informative zudem kostenfreie Führung, die uns durch lange Gänge unter der Stadt u. a. in den Interimsplenarsaal gebracht hat. Die Führung kann man nur weiterempfehlen. Sie findet an diversen Terminen im Jahr mittwochs statt.
Bild oben: Man sieht deutlich die graue Eminenz im Hintergrund - der Hausmeister ist der mächtigste Mann im Gebäude, denn eigentlich entscheidet nur er, wer in den Landtag reinkommt (oh weh, ein schlechter Kalauer).
Bild unten: Bitte fragt mich nicht, was der Kopf bedeuten soll - aber es rollen ja ständig Köpfe in der Politik ...

On Wednesday I spent some time sketching in the Lower Saxony parliament. I was back here for the first time after the reconstruction (from 2014-2017). (Please don't ask me what's the meaning of the head) - but there are always people losing their heads in politics ...

Schöne Holzskulpturen aus etwa 1430 -1440 waren ebenfalls in der Sonderausstellung des Landesmuseums zu sehen. Besonders schön fand ich den Titel »Törichte Jungfrau«. Kopfkino.

Feeble Virgin

Beautiful wooden sculptures were also on display in the special exhibition of the Landesmuseum. I found the title "Feeble Virgin" particularly beautiful. Head Cinema.

Vierge faible

De magnifiques sculptures en bois ont également été exposées dans le cadre de l'exposition spéciale du Landesmuseum. J'ai trouvé le titre "Vierge faible" particulièrement beau. Cinéma pour la tête.

Unser gestriges Urban Sketcher Treffen (Nummer 50!) im Landesmuseum Hannover. Wir hatten mit fast 50 Teilnehmern einen neuen Rekord. Mein Favorit in den Naturwelten ist der große Dino.

Our Urban Sketcher meeting yesterday (number 50!) at the Landesmuseum Hannover. We had a new record with almost 50 participants. My favorite in the natural worlds is the big dino.

Notre rencontre de Urban Sketcher d'hier (numéro 50 !) au Landesmuseum de Hanovre. Nous avons établi un nouveau record avec près de 50 participants. Mon préféré dans le monde de la nature est le grand dino.
