Ich dachte, eine amerikanische Straßenszenerie wäre dem Anlass angemessen. Noch während ich das Bild hier poste steht das Ergebnis der Midterm Wahlen in den USA noch nicht fest.
I thought an American street scene would be appropriate for the occasion. Even as I post the painting here, the result of the midterm elections in the U.S. is not yet determined.

Die schwarz/weißen Zeichnungen erinnern mich durch ihre grafische Art daran, dass wohl jeder, der gerne zeichnet, irgendwann mal Comiczeichner werden wollte.
The black and white drawings remind me through their graphic nature that probably everyone who likes to draw wanted to become a comic artist at some point.
Les dessins en noir et blanc me rappellent par leur nature graphique que probablement tous ceux qui aiment dessiner ont voulu devenir un jour ou l'autre un dessinateur de bandes dessinées.

It looks almost like a great metropolis of America. However, it is only the old papal palace in Avignon. Some sections are rebuilt under scaffolding and that looks almost like skyscrapers.
On dirait presque une grande métropole américaine. Pourtant, ce n'est que le vieux palais papal d'Avignon. Certaines parties sont reconstruites sous des échafaudages et cela ressemble presque à des gratte-ciel.

Die Vorzeichnung mit dem Brush Pen plus Farbe finde ich gerade mal spannend.
I find the preliminary drawing with the brush pen plus color just exciting.
Je pense que le dessin préliminaire avec le stylo pinceau et la couleur est tout simplement passionnant.
