Second sketch of the marathon. Otherwise, this is a traffic island at one of Hanover’s busiest intersections.
Deuxième croquis du marathon. Sinon, il s'agit d'un îlot central situé à l'un des carrefours les plus fréquentés de Hanovre.

The annual marathon took place in Hanover on Sunday. Our Urban Sketchers group sketched the marathon runners and the surrounding scene. One woman in particular put everyone in a good mood with her cheers: “Claudia! I've never seen you run this fast before!” - “Jonas, you're a beast!” - “Markus, you're looking good!”
Dimanche dernier s'est déroulé le marathon annuel de Hanovre. Avec notre groupe d'Urban Sketchers, nous avons dessiné les marathoniens et l'ambiance qui régnait autour d'eux. Une dame en particulier a mis tout le monde de bonne humeur avec ses encouragements: « Claudia ! Je ne t'ai jamais vue courir aussi vite ! » - « Jonas, tu es un crack ! » - « Markus, ça a l'air bien ! »

That looks more like an angel who still has to earn his wings.
On dirait plutôt un ange qui doit encore mériter ses ailes.

The mountain cemetery in Linden was established in 1862 and is now a designated historic site, with only a few gravestones and statues still visible. I particularly enjoyed sketching the little angel.
Le cimetière de montagne de Linden a été créé en 1862 et est aujourd’hui classé monument historique, avec pour seules traces visibles quelques pierres tombales et statues. J’ai particulièrement apprécié de dessiner le petit ange.

The sculpture seems a bit too big to me. But that’s okay. Whether alive or dead, some column saints do want to appear taller than they really are.
Cette sculpture me semble un peu trop grande. Mais ce n'est pas grave. Qu'ils soient vivants ou morts, certains saints de colonne aiment bien paraître plus grands qu'ils ne le sont.

Teil zwei aus dem Parkleben. Warum zielt die Person auf dem Sockel in die falsche Richtung? Was machen die da auf der Bank? Und sind das zwei Zypressen oder der Kölner Dom? Eigentlich sind es ja nur "Farb' und Pinselstrich".
Part Two from Park Life. Why is the figure on the pedestal aiming in the wrong direction? What are the people on the bench doing? And are those two cypress trees or the Cologne Cathedral? Actually, it’s really just “color and brushstrokes.”
Deuxième partie de « La vie au parc ». Pourquoi le personnage sur le socle regarde-t-il dans la mauvaise direction ? Que font les gens sur le banc ? Et s'agit-il de deux cyprès ou de la cathédrale de Cologne ? En réalité, ce ne sont que « de la couleur et des coups de pinceau ».
