During our little hikein Theo Area Truhe Mont Ventoux, the remote chapel above the Paty dam was a highlight.

The recommendation of the day was St. Rémy de Provence, where on Whit Monday the "Transhumance", (which means chasing the sheep through the whole city to lush meadows of Provence. Afterwards we enjoyed a delicious meal at L‘Estival.
La recommandation du jour était St. Rémy de Provence, où le lundi de Pentecôte avait lieu la "Transhumance", c'est-à-dire le passage des moutons vers les prairies luxuriantes de Provence. Nous avons ensuite dégusté un délicieux repas à L‘Estival.

Nach dem Marktbesuch in Carpentras sind wir am Place Du Marché des Oiseaux hängengeblieben. Früher war das Viertel hier eher - sagen wir mal - „urig“ inzwischen wohl auch touristisch erschlossen und aufgepeppt.
After the market visit in Carpentras we got stuck at the Place Du Marché des Oiseaux. In the past, the hold here was rather - let's say - "quaint" now probably also tourist developed and pimped up.

Es gab ein großes Hallo im Bistrot - alle wollten das fertige Bild sehen und vielleicht habe ich jetzt ein paar Follower mehr auf Facebook, Instagram oder Dailypaintworks. Das Mittagsmenunwar übrigens superbe und gar nicht so teuer :)

The Goseriede with the Anzeiger skyscraper (one of the tallest of its kind when it was built) and in front of it the ruins of the Nikolaikapelle - once a leprosy station at the gates of the city.

Mein diesjähriger Sommer-Workshop ist die Kloster-Skizzen-Tour rund um die Burg Herstelle im schönen Weserbergland. 3 Tage "Skizzier-Urlaub" zu nahe gelegenen Klosterkirchen und Klöstern. At the end of the Sketcher meeting in the water town of Linden Limmer I have immortalized the Nikolaikirche once more. It was a great event with many familiar and new faces.
