Ja, ihr habt richtig gelesen: Gestern war Tag des Handtuchs. Dieser geht auf das Buch "Per Anhalter durch die Galaxis" von Douglas Adams. Der Protagonist lernt dort, dass ein Handtuch das wichtigste Utensil für intergalaktische Anhalter dargestellt, da es in vielen Situationen nützlich ist. 

Yes, you read that right: Yesterday was the day of the towel. This goes back to the book “The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy” by Douglas Adams. The protagonist learns there that a towel is the most important utensil for intergalactic hitchhikers, as it is useful in many situations. 

Oui, vous avez bien lu : Hier c'était le jour de la serviette. Cela remonte au livre « Le guide de l'Hitchcock dans la galaxie » de Douglas Adams. Le protagoniste y apprend qu'une serviette est l'ustensile le plus important pour les astronautes intergalactiques, car elle est utile dans de nombreuses situations.

Der Kurs bei Oliver Hoeller am Wochenende war einfach "wow", wie man am Ergebnis sicher sehen kann. Früher habe ich ja schon oft solche verzerrten Perspektiven gezeichnet und dank Oliver habe ich nun wieder sehr viel Spaß daran gefunden.

The class with Oliver Hoeller this weekend was simply “wow”, as you can certainly see from the result. I used to draw distorted perspectives like this a lot and thanks to Oliver, I've really enjoyed it again.

Le cours avec Oliver Hoeller ce week-end était tout simplement « wow », comme vous pouvez certainement le voir dans le résultat. J'avais l'habitude de dessiner des perspectives déformées comme celle-ci et grâce à Oliver, j'ai de nouveau pris beaucoup de plaisir à le faire.

Pas de poisson aujourd'hui. Mais seulement pour la mouette. J'ai mangé une fricadelle de poisson au déjeuner et j'ai eu un poisson-frites le soir.

Der Titel ist ein kleines Wortspiel. Heute ging es bei "Every Day in May" ums Umsetzen des Themas "Süßigkeit". Liegen lassen ist übrigens genau das Gegenteil von Pick Up! 

The title is a little game of words. Today, “Every Day in May” was about implementing the theme of “sweets”. By the way, "liegen lassen" means leaving something lying - which is exactly the opposite of picking it up! 

Le titre est un petit jeu de mots. Aujourd'hui, « Every Day in May » était consacré à la mise en œuvre du thème des « sucreries ». Au fait, « liegen lassen » signifie laisser reposer quelque chose - ce qui est exactement le contraire de « Pick Up! » !

Beim Maikäfertreffen in Hannover waren wieder unzählige Käfer, VW-Bullis und andere historische Volkswagen unterwegs. Ein persönliches Highlight war der Herbie Käfer. Erinnerung an die Filme meiner Kindheit in den 70er Jahren. 

Countless Beetles, VW Bullis and other historic Volkswagens were once again on the road at the May Beetle Meeting in Hanover. A personal highlight was the Herbie Beetle. A reminder of the movies from my childhood in the 70s. 

De nombreuses Beetle, VW Bulli et autres Volkswagen historiques étaient une fois de plus sur la route lors du May Beetle Meeting à Hanover. La Beetle d'Herbie a été le clou du spectacle. Un souvenir des films de mon enfance dans les années 70.
