Aus gegebenem Anlass gibt es bereits heute das nächste Bild aus dem Buch.
Gestern habe ich es bei boesner vorgestellt und hierzu das Bild der Golden Gate Bridge gemalt. (Obiges Bild zeigt die für das Buch gemalte Variante.)
Volles Haus, gute Stimmung und viele verkaufte Exemplare.

Book Presentation (Painting of the week)
The picture of the week comes a bit earlier than planned.
Yesterday I presented my book at boesner and painted the picture of the Golden Gate Bridge. Full house, good atmosphere and many sold copies.

In loser Folge stelle ich euch hier ein paar Bilder meines ersten Buches vor:

Es beginnt mit orangefarbenem Obst. In der ersten Übung des Buches lernt ihr, wie man mit möglichst breitem Pinsel malt und worauf ihr besonders als Anfänger beim Mischen achten solltet. Auch verrate ich einiges über den Begriff Tonwerte und warum diese so wichtig für ein gelungenes Bild sind.

Picture of the week #1

In a nutshell I'll introduce a few paintworks of my first book:

It starts with an orange fruit. The first exercise of the book shows you why to paint with broadest possible brush, and what you should consider first when mixing colors as a beginner. I'll also tell you a lot about the concept of tonal values and it is so important for a successful picture. The book is availyble in German only, sorry.
