Beim Mittwochssketchen war ich mal wieder im Glocksee-Viertel an der Ihme. Toller Innenhof mit viel Flair. Das ist schon so traditionell gewollt "alternativ", dass man es rundheraus spießig nennen könnte.

On my usual Wednesday-Sketch-Time I was again in the Glocksee district on the river Ihme. Great courtyard with a lot of flair. It's so traditionally "alternative" that you could call it downright bourgeois.

Die letzten Tage war es super(schön) heiß. Da bewegen sich alle etwas träger – wie auch diese Katze hier. Leider wird der automatische E-Mail-Service ab Juli von Google (feedburner) nicht weiter betreut. Somit kommt es nun bereits jetzt vermehrt zu Aussetzern bei der Lieferung der täglichen E-Mail-Bilder. Eine (kostenneutrale) Lösung ist noch nicht in Sicht. Aber ich arbeite dran.

 Wettermäßig hat es zurzeit schon südländische Verhältnisse. Wahrscheinlich hat mich deswegen diese von der Sonne verwöhnte Stadt heute zeichnerisch in ihren Bann gezogen.

Weather-wise it has at the moment already southern conditions. Probably, therefore this city spoiled by the sun has drawn me today in its spell.

Les conditions météorologiques sont pour l'instant déjà celles du sud. C'est probablement pour cela que cette ville gâtée par le soleil m'a attiré aujourd'hui dans son charme.

Burgen. Burgen. Burgen. Deutschland ist voll damit. Am übernächsten Wochenende (25.-27. Juni 2021) darf ich endlich meinen ersten Sketching-Kurs 2021 geben. Der Kurs findet auf der Burg Herstelle im Dreiländereck (Hessen-NRW-Niedersachsen) an der Weser statt. An drei Tagen besuchen und skizzieren wir gemeinsam einige der umliegenden Burgen: Burg Herstelle – Dornröschenschloss Sababurg – Trendelburg – Wasserschloss Wülmersen – Krukenburg. Infos HIER. Die heute skizzierte Burg Eltz liegt allerdings in der Eifel und gilt als Inbegriff einer "Ritterburg".

Castles. Castles. Castles. Germany is full of them. On the weekend June 25-27, 2021 I am proud to teach my first Sketching workshop in 2021. It will take place at Herstelle Castle in the border triangle (Hesse-NRW-Lower Saxony) on the Weser River. On three days we will visit and happily sketch together: Herstelle Castle - Sleeping Beauty Castle Sababurg - Trendelburg - Wülmersen Castle - Krukenburg. Le week-end du 25 au 27 juin 2021, je suis fière de donner mon premier atelier d'esquisse, qui aura lieu au château de Herstelle, dans le triangle frontalier (Hesse-NRW-Bas-Saxe), sur la rivière Weser. Pendant trois jours, nous visiterons et dessinerons ensemble avec bonheur : le château de Herstelle - le château de la Belle au bois dormant Sababurg - Trendelburg - le château de Wülmersen - Krukenburg. Mit den Coronalockerungen hat auch unser Zoo in Hannover wieder unter fast normalen Bedingungen geöffnet. Das Knutschen der Einhörner ist aber weiterhin verboten.

With the coronal loosenings, our zoo in Hanover has also reopened under almost normal conditions. However, smooching the unicorns is still prohibited.

Avec les desserrements coronaires, notre zoo de Hanovre a également rouvert ses portes dans des conditions presque normales. Cependant, il est toujours interdit de bécoter les licornes.

Yippieh! Gestern hatten wir die Schlüsselübergabe zu unserem ersten eigenen Haus. Es liegt im Hannoveraner Heideviertel. Als nächstes folgt dann der Umbau des Dachgeschosses zum Atelier sowie weitere Umbauarbeiten. 

Yippee! Yesterday we had the key handover to our first own house. It is located in Hannover's Heideviertel. The next step will be the conversion of the attic into a studio as well as other remodeling work. 

Youpi ! Hier, nous avons eu la remise des clés de notre première maison. Il est situé dans le Quartier de Lande, à Hanovre. La prochaine étape sera l'aménagement du grenier en studio ainsi que d'autres travaux de rénovation.
