Since I had a small "ink accident" by drawing the tower, I had to retouch things. Then I scanned the new sketch result and colored it digitally.

Begonnen habe ich dieses Bild umständehalber als digitale Zeichnung auf dem iPad. Die Linienzeichnung habe ich dann auf einfaches Aquarellpapier gedruckt und klassisch koloriert.
I started this painting circumstantially as a digital drawing on the iPad. I then printed the line drawing on simple watercolor paper and colored classically.
J'ai commencé cette peinture de manière circonstancielle comme un dessin numérique sur l'iPad. J'ai ensuite imprimé le dessin au trait sur du papier aquarelle simple et coloré de façon classique.

Manchmal echt witzig. Beim Umräumen fand ich einen alten Kalender von Edward Hopper. Auf dem Titelbild einer seiner Leuchttürme. Das hatte ich ganz vergessen, dass er in Maine eine Vielzahl seiner Motive gefunden hatte.
Really funny sometimes. While rearranging, I found an old calendar by Edward Hopper. On the cover one of his lighthouses. I had completely forgotten that he had discovered a variety of his motifs in Maine.
Vraiment drôle parfois. En réorganisant, j'ai trouvé un vieux calendrier d'Edward Hopper. Sur la couverture d'un de ses phares. J'avais complètement oublié qu'il avait découvert une variété de ses motifs dans le Maine.

Meist arbeite ich in der Reihenfolge: Foto suchen – Foto bearbeiten – Bleistiftskizze – Fineliner oder Füller Linie – Grauwerte mit Tusche – und dann noch Farbe ... Diesmal hat mich die Schwarz-Weiß-Linienzeichnung schon überzeugt aufzuhören.
Mostly I work in the order: search photo - edit photo - pencil sketch - fineliner or fountain pen line - gray values with ink - and then color ... This time the black and white line drawing has already convinced me to stop.
La plupart du temps, je travaille dans l'ordre suivant : recherche de la photo - modification de la photo - dessin au crayon - tracé au fineliner ou au stylo plume - valeurs de gris avec l'encre - puis couleur ... Cette fois, le dessin en noir et blanc m'a déjà convaincu d'arrêter.
