Seit Freitag bin ich auf der schönen Burg Herstelle als Dozent für meinen Kurs "Schnelle Burgskizzen - Quick & Dirty". 
Wie immer eine tolle Zeit mit supernetten Gastgebern, motivierten Kursteilnehmer/innen und genialen Motiven, die das Sketcherherz höher schlagen lassen.

Since Friday I am on the beautiful Castle Herstelle as a lecturer for my course "Quick castle sketches - Quick & Dirty". 
As always a great time with super nice hosts, motivated course participants and ingenious motifs that make the sketcher's heart beat faster.

Depuis vendredi je suis sur le beau Château Herstelle en tant que conférencier pour mon cours "Quick castle sketches - Quick & Dirty". 
Comme toujours, du bon temps avec des hôtes super sympathiques, des participants motivés et des motifs ingénieux qui font battre le cœur du dessinateur plus vite.

Gestern haben wir einen schönen Grill- und Sketchabend im Kleingarten verbringen dürfen. Je später es wurde, desto weniger störte die Hitze des Tages. es wurde sogar wunderbar kühl, sobald sich die Sonne dem Horizont näherte.

Yesterday we were allowed to spend a nice barbecue and sketch evening in the allotment garden. The later it became, the less the heat of the day disturbed. It even became wonderfully cool as soon as the sun approached the horizon.

Hier, nous avons eu le loisir de passer une belle soirée barbecue et sketch dans le jardin familial. Plus il se faisait tard, moins la chaleur de la journée était dérangée. Il faisait même merveilleusement frais dès que le soleil approchait de l'horizon.

Der schöne Weg hoch zur Kapelle von Montselice wird gesäumt von mehreren Kreuzweg-Häuschen. Oben liegen sichtbar hinter Glas die sterblichen Überreste mehrerer Christen, die im Colosseum von den Löwen zerkaut wurden. Nice.

The beautiful path up to the chapel of Montselice is lined by several crossroad stations. At the top, visible behind glass, are the remains of several Christians who were chewed by the lions in the Colosseum. Nice.

Le beau sentier jusqu'à la chapelle de Montselice est bordé par plusieurs stations de croisement. Au sommet, visible derrière une vitre, se trouvent les restes de plusieurs chrétiens qui ont été mâchés par les lions dans le Colisée. Nice.

Heute endlich wieder was in Acryl. Die Skizzen von Bella Italia helfen beim Umsetzen. Heute die Zypressenallee beim Weingut Bernardi.

Today finally something in acrylic again. The sketches of Bella Italia help with the conversion. Today the cypress avenue at the Bernardi winery.

Aujourd'hui enfin quelque chose de nouveau en acrylique. Les croquis de Bella Italia aident à la conversion. Aujourd'hui, l'avenue des cyprès à la cave Bernardi.

2861 Barkenhoff-Museum

• Skizzenbuch doppelt DIN A5 • 

Habe noch eine schöne Skizze vom Barkenhoff im Skizzenbuch gefunden. Einfach aber wirkungsvoll. Die nächsten Tage werden heiß, Freunde. Freue mich aber trotzdem, morgen endlich wieder ein paar neue Skizzen in Acryl zu beginnen.

Found a nice sketch of the Barkenhoff in the sketchbook. Simple but effective.

The next days will be hot, friends. But I'm still happy to finally start some new sketches in acrylic tomorrow.

J'ai trouvé un joli croquis du Barkenhoff dans le carnet de croquis. Simple mais efficace. Les prochains jours seront chauds, mes amis. Mais je suis toujours heureux de pouvoir enfin commencer de nouvelles esquisses à l'acrylique demain.

In Hannover gibt es sehr viele Kioske.

Hier kann man Zeitungen, Zigaretten und Alkohol kaufen.

Letzteres dann auch, wenn alle anderen Läden schon geschlossen haben. Die Trinkhalle ist eine besondere Form davon.

Diese ist im Stadtteil Döhren.

There are many kiosks in Hannover.

Here you can buy newspapers, cigarettes and alcohol.

The latter also when all other shops have already closed. The "Trinkhalle" (Drinking Hall") is a special form of it.

This one is in the district Döhren.

Beim gestrigen Sketchen mit den Mittwochssketchies haben wir das International Neuroscience Institute als Motiv ausgesucht. Es hat architektonisch die Form eines Gehirns.

Yesterday, we selected the International Neuroscience Institute as our subject for the Wednesday sketchies. Architecturally, it has the shape of a brain.

Hier, nous avons choisi l'Institut international des Neurosciences comme sujet des sketchs du mercredi. Architecturalement, il a la forme d'un cerveau.

Am Wochenende war ich bei der Familienfeier auf dem Rettershof im Taunus. Dies ist inzwischen ein nettes Romantikhotel mit schönen Wanderwegen drumrum. 

On the weekend I was at the family meeting at the Rettershof in Taunus. This has become a nice romantic hotel with beautiful hiking trails around. 

Le week-end, j'étais à la réunion de famille au Rettershof à Taunus. C'est devenu un bel hôtel romantique avec de beaux sentiers de randonnée autour.

Mohn malen können andere besser. 

Aber ich fand es dann doch nicht ganz so schrecklich.  

Mohnbrötchen sind mir lieber.

Others can paint poppies better.

But I didn't think it was so terrible after all.  

I prefer poppy seed rolls.

D'autres peuvent mieux peindre les coquelicots.

Mais je ne pensais pas que c'était si terrible après tout.  

Je préfère les rouleaux de graines de pavot...

Ich habe nicht jeden Tag geschafft, ein reines Watercolorbild (zusätzlich) als Daily Painting zu malen. Manchmal wurde es dann auch "nur" die Skizze des Tages. 

I didn't manage every day to paint a pure watercolor (additionally) as daily painting. Sometimes it was "just" the sketch of the day. 

Je n'arrivais pas tous les jours à peindre une aquarelle pure (en plus) comme une peinture quotidienne. Parfois, c'était "juste" le sketch du jour.

Am Pfingstmontag war wie jedes Jahr auch "Mühlentag". 

Bei drückender Hitze besuchten wir zur Feier des Tages die Mühle in Osterholz-Scharnbeck.

On Pentecost Monday was like every year also "mill day". 

In oppressive heat we visited the mill in Osterholz-Scharnbeck to celebrate the day.

Le lundi de Pentecôte était comme chaque année aussi le "jour du moulin". 

Par une chaleur accablante, nous avons visité le moulin d'Osterholz-Scharnbeck pour célébrer cette journée.
