 "Haunted Houses" sind so 'ne Art Spukhäuser. Nachdem also gestern schon eine Plörrenabfüllerei Pate fürs Motiv stand ... gibt es heute ein weiteres Motiv, bei dem man nicht weiß, was da wohl alles drin ist. Ich habe auch was "Unheimliches" versteckt. Wer von euch findet es?

So after yesterday an old beverage bottling plant was the godfather for the motif ... there is today another motif, where you do not know what is probably all in there. I have also hidden something "scary". Who of you will find it?

Hier déjà, une usine d'embouteillage de boissons était le parrain du motif... Aujourd'hui, il y a un autre motif, où l'on ne sait pas ce qu'il y a probablement dedans. J'ai aussi caché quelque chose d'"effrayant". Qui d'entre vous va le trouver ?

Nachdem ich gestern sehr viel Zeit in die Skizze des japanischen Hauses investiert hatte, gefiel es mir am nächsten Morgen nicht mehr. Es war zu bunt und zu wenig "snappy". So habe ich es kurzerhand abgeduscht (schluck!) und Dank der wasserfesten Tusche, die ich beim der Vorzeichnung benutzt habe, sind die Linien und ein leichter Farbschatten erhalten geblieben! Schreibt mir gerne, ob ihr auch schon einmal eins eurer Bilder mit unter die Dusche genommen habt :)

After I had invested a lot of time in the sketch of the Japanese house yesterday, I didn't like it the next morning. It was too colorful and not "snappy" enough. So I showered it off without further ado (gulp!) and thanks to the waterproof ink that I used in the preliminary drawing, the lines and a light color shadow remained! Feel free to write me if you have ever taken one of your paintings in the shower :)

Après avoir investi beaucoup de temps dans l'esquisse de la maison japonaise hier, je n'ai pas aimé le lendemain matin. C'était trop coloré et pas assez "accrocheur". Je l'ai donc lavé sans plus attendre (criez !) et grâce à l'encre imperméable que j'ai utilisée pour le dessin préliminaire, les lignes et une ombre de couleur claire sont restées ! N'hésitez pas à m'écrire si vous avez déjà emporté un de vos tableaux sous la douche :)

Da ich beim Turm einen kleinen »Tusche-Unfall« hatte, musste ich da nochmal retuschieren. Dann habe ich das neue Skizzen-Ergebnis eingescannt und digital koloriert.

Since I had a small "ink accident" by drawing the tower, I had to retouch things. Then I scanned the new sketch result and colored it digitally.

Comme j'ai eu un petit "accident d'encre" en dessinant la tour, j'ai dû retoucher des choses. Ensuite, j'ai scanné le nouveau résultat de l'esquisse et je l'ai colorié numériquement.

Begonnen habe ich dieses Bild umständehalber als digitale Zeichnung auf dem iPad. Die Linienzeichnung habe ich dann auf einfaches Aquarellpapier gedruckt und klassisch koloriert.

I started this painting circumstantially as a digital drawing on the iPad. I then printed the line drawing on simple watercolor paper and colored classically.

J'ai commencé cette peinture de manière circonstancielle comme un dessin numérique sur l'iPad. J'ai ensuite imprimé le dessin au trait sur du papier aquarelle simple et coloré de façon classique.

Manchmal echt witzig. Beim Umräumen fand ich einen alten Kalender von Edward Hopper. Auf dem Titelbild einer seiner Leuchttürme. Das hatte ich ganz vergessen, dass er in Maine eine Vielzahl seiner Motive gefunden hatte. 

Really funny sometimes. While rearranging, I found an old calendar by Edward Hopper. On the cover one of his lighthouses. I had completely forgotten that he had discovered a variety of his motifs in Maine. 

Vraiment drôle parfois. En réorganisant, j'ai trouvé un vieux calendrier d'Edward Hopper. Sur la couverture d'un de ses phares. J'avais complètement oublié qu'il avait découvert une variété de ses motifs dans le Maine.
