Es wechselt jetzt zwischen Zeichnung und Malerei. Am Sonntag waren wir mit den Urban Sketchers Hannover draußen unterwegs. Und da arbeite ich weiterhin gerne mit dem Pinselstift.

It alternates between drawing and painting now. On Sunday we were out and about with the Urban Sketchers Hannover. And there I continue to work with pleasure with the brush pen.

Wenn die Acrylfarben schon etwas eingetrocknet sind auf der Palette, verarbeiten sie sich eher "kratzend" und sehen dann auf dem Bild "kreidig" aus. Wenn man zu faul ist, neue frischen Farben aus dem Regal zu holen, ist das Ergebnis so wie hier.

If the acrylic paints are dried a bit on the palette, they process rather "scratchy" and then look "chalky" on the painting. If you are too lazy to get new fresh colors from the shelf, the result is like here.

Si les couleurs acryliques ont déjà un peu séché sur la palette, elles se travaillent plutôt "en grattant" et ont alors un aspect "crayeux" sur le tableau. Si l'on est trop paresseux pour aller chercher de nouvelles couleurs fraîches sur l'étagère, le résultat est comme ici.

Am Mittwoch endlich mal wieder mit der Gruppe gesketcht. Das ist der Telemoritz, der kleine Bruder vom großen Fernsehturm Telemax.

On Wednesday, I finally did some sketches with the the group. This is the Telemoritz, the little brother of the big TV tower Telemax.

Mercredi, j'ai finalement fait quelques croquis avec le groupe. C'est le Telemoritz, le petit frère de la grande tour de télévision Telemax.

Endlich wieder mit den Mittwochssketchys live vor Ort unterwegs in Hannover - am Steintor / Anzeiger Hochhaus. Hier wurden nach dem Krieg das Nachrichtenmagazin Der Spiegel (1947) und die Wochenzeitschrift Stern (1948) gegründet.

Finally back with the Mittwochssketchys live on location in Hannover - at the Steintor / Anzeiger "skyscraper". This is where the news magazine Der Spiegel (1947) and the weekly Stern (1948) were founded after the war (still very popular magazines in Germany).

Enfin de retour avec les Mittwochssketchys en direct sur la route à Hanovre - au "gratte-ciel" Anzeiger. C'est là que le magazine d'information Der Spiegel (1947) et l'hebdomadaire Stern (1948) ont été fondés après la guerre (des magazines encore très populaires en Allemagne).

Zurück zu den Wurzeln und zur einfachen Schwarz-Weiß-Skizze - Ein hervorragender Startpunkt, um zu schauen, ob ein Motiv / eine Szene / eine Komposition "funktioniert". Neben der Aufteilung von "Hell und Dunkel" sind hier auch Blickführung zu einem Fokuspunkt und die großen Formen als solche wichtig. Seht ihr die verschiedenen Ebenen? Seht ihr die "Dreiecke"? Seht ihr die Kontraste?

Back to the roots and to simple black and white sketches - An excellent starting point to see if a subject / scene / composition "works". In addition to the breakdown of "lights and shadows", eye tracking to a focal point and the large shapes are important here too. Do you see the different levels? Do you see the "triangles"? Do you see the contrasts?

Retour aux sources et aux simples croquis en noir et blanc - Un excellent point de départ pour voir si un sujet / une scène / une composition "fonctionne". En plus de la séparation des "lumières et des ombres", le suivi oculaire d'un point focal et les grandes formes sont ici aussi importants. Voyez-vous les différents niveaux ? Voyez-vous les "triangles" ? Voyez-vous les contrastes ?

Ich glaube diese Woche wird so eine Mix-Woche mit verschiedenen Motiven in Mixed Media. Hierbei verwende ich wasserlösliche Tusche, die wasserfest auftrocknet, Acryl-Deckweiß und Aquarellfarbe sowie Bleistift und Füller.

I think this week will be such a mix week with different motifs in mixed media. Here I use water-soluble ink that dries waterproof, acrylic opaque white and watercolor paint as well as pencil and fountain pen.

Je pense que cette semaine sera une semaine de mélange avec différents motifs dans les médias mixtes. Ici, j'utilise de l'encre soluble à l'eau qui sèche à l'eau, du blanc opaque acrylique et de la peinture aquarelle ainsi que du crayon et du stylo-plume.

Le Voilà oder La Voilà? Welches Geschlecht haben Boote in Frankreich? Ich tippe auf männlich, weil es auch die Mond heißt und der Sonne. Also genau umgekehrt wie im Deutschen.

Le Voilà or La Voilà? What gender do boats have in France? I guess male, because often it is called exactly the opposite as in German.

Le Voilà ou La Voilà ? Quel est le sexe des bateaux en France ? Je penche pour le masculin, car on dit aussi la lune et le soleil. C'est donc exactement l'inverse en allemand (der Mond und die Sonne).

Schön finde ich hier, wie der Maler Kontrast zwischen der dunklen und der sonnenbeschienen Seite des Hafens den herausgearbeitet hat.

I like how the painter worked out that contrast between the dark and the sunlit side of the harbor.

J'aime la manière dont le peintre a mis en valeur le contraste entre le côté sombre et le côté ensoleillé du port.

Da bin ich zwiegespalten: Die Technik gefällt mit hier ganz gut. Beim Motiv sträuben sich leicht die Nackenhaare. Was meint ihr?

I'm ambivalent about that: The technique pleases me here quite well. The subject slightly raises the hairs on the back of my neck. What do you think?

Je suis ambivalent à ce sujet : La technique me plaît ici assez bien. Le sujet fait légèrement dresser les poils de ma nuque. Qu'en pensez-vous ?

Am Samstag endete die kleine Gemeinschaftsausstellung einiger Fahrrsadskizzen im Radicarl Fahrradladen. Zur Finissage habe ich noch eine kleine Skizze gemacht.

Saturday the short collective exhibition of some bike sketches in the Radicarl bike store ended. For the finissage I made another small sketch.

Samedi, la courte exposition collective de quelques croquis de vélos au magasin Radicarl s'est terminée. Pour le finissage, j'ai fait un autre petit croquis.
