Der heutige Fußmarsch führte nach Portixol, zum kleinen Hafen von Palma. Zum Glück hatte ich mich mit Sonnenmilch einbalsamiert. Die Sonne schien heute den ganzen Tag und es war wieder T-Shirt-Wetter.

Today's walk took us to Portixol, the small harbor of Palma. Luckily I had put sunscreen on my face. Today the sun was shining all day and again, it was T-shirt weather.

La promenade d'aujourd'hui nous a conduits à Portixol, le petit port de Palma. Heureusement, j'avais mis de la crème solaire sur mon visage. Aujourd'hui, le soleil a brillé toute la journée et, une fois de plus, il faisait un temps de t-shirt.

El paseo de hoy nos ha llevado al Portixol, el pequeño puerto de Palma. Por suerte me había puesto crema solar en la cara. Hoy el sol ha brillado todo el día y volvía a hacer tiempo de camiseta.

Mit dem Bus kommt man von Palma prima nach Sóller und von dort aus ins pittoreske Bergdorf Fornalutx. Zurück nach Sóller sind wir dann vorbei an Trockensteinmauern, unzähligen Orangen-, Zitronen-, Johannisbrot- und Olivenbäumen entlang gewandert. 

The bus is a great way to get from Palma to Sóller and from there to the picturesque mountain village of Fornalutx. We then hiked back to Sóller past dry stone walls and countless orange, lemon, carob and olive trees. 

En bus, on peut facilement se rendre de Palma à Sóller et de là au pittoresque village de montagne de Fornalutx. De retour à Sóller, nous avons marché le long de murs de pierres sèches et d'innombrables orangers, citronniers, caroubiers et oliviers. 

El autobús es un medio estupendo para ir de Palma a Sóller y de allí al pintoresco pueblo de montaña de Fornalutx. Después volvimos a Sóller caminando entre muros de piedra seca e innumerables naranjos, limoneros, algarrobos y olivos.

In Santa Catalina, einem schönen Stadtviertel Palmas, habe ich im „Buscando El Norte“ ein paar Tapas gegessen und die gegenüberliegende Straßenseite gezeichnet.

In Santa Catalina, a nice district of Palma, I had a few tapas at “Buscando El Norte” and drew the opposite side of the street.

A Santa Catalina, quartier agréable de Palma, j'ai mangé quelques tapas à « Buscando El Norte » et j'ai dessiné le côté opposé de la rue.

En Santa Catalina, un bonito barrio de Palma, me tomé unas tapas en «Buscando El Norte» y dibujé el lado opuesto de la calle.

Bald sind wir auf dem Eiland im Mittelmeer. Hoffentlich lässt es das Wetter zu, dass wir auch eine Wanderung zu einem der pitturesken kleinen Bergdörfer unternehmen können.

Ab Sonntag tausche ich die eisige Januarluft gegen die sonnige Mittelmeerbrise ein. Ein Kurztrip führt mich ein paar Tage nach Mallorca. Auf dem Landgut Son Marroig stehen einige schöne alte und knorrige Olivenbäume.

From Sunday, I'm swapping the icy January air for the sunny Mediterranean breeze. A short trip will take me to Majorca for a few days. There are some beautiful old and gnarled olive trees on the Son Marroig estate.

À partir de dimanche, je troque l'air glacial de janvier contre la brise ensoleillée de la Méditerranée. Un petit voyage me conduira à Majorque pour quelques jours. Sur le domaine de Son Marroig, il y a de beaux oliviers anciens et noueux.

Ich sitze in meinem Konfirmations-Cordanzug auf dem coolen Ford Escort meiner Mutter.

Als ich den lütten Schieter (das Auto) hier sah, fiel mir gleich ein, dass wir auch einmal einen Fiat 500 in türkisblau in der Familie hatten. Es gibt sogar noch ein Foto :))

When I saw this little guy here, I immediately remembered that we once had a Fiat 500 in turquoise blue in the family. There's even a photo :))

Dalmatiner waren auch bekannte Filmhunde. Sogar gleich 101 davon. Aus den weichen Welpen wollte Cruella einen schön warmen Pelzmantel klöppeln. Aber die Hunde konnten entkommen. Der Pelzmantel wurde dann bei Woolworth gekauft.

Dalmatians were also famous movie dogs. As many as 101 of them. Cruella wanted to make a nice warm fur coat out of the soft puppies. But the dogs managed to escape. The fur coat was finally bought at Woolworth's.

Les dalmatiens étaient également des chiens de cinéma célèbres. Il y en a eu jusqu'à 101. Cruella voulait faire de ces chiots tout doux un manteau de fourrure bien chaud. Mais les chiens ont réussi à s'échapper. Le manteau a finalement été acheté chez Woolworth.

1919 wurde der Verein für die Reinzucht des langhaarigen, großen, schwarzweißen Münsterländer Vorstehhundes gegründet. OMG. Das hat dieser niedliche Zeitgenosse doch nicht verdient.

The association for the pure breeding of the long-haired, large, black and white Münsterländer pointing dog was founded in 1919. OMG. This cute contemporary didn't deserve that.

L'association pour l'élevage pur du grand chien à poil long, noir et blanc du Münsterland a été fondée en 1919. OMG. Ce mignon contemporain ne méritait pas cela.
