Am Sonntag waren wir trotz des hervorragendes Wetters auf Einladung des Landesmuseums Hannover in selbigem. Zum Ausklang waren wir im schönen Innenhof.

Mr. Umbrella 

On Sunday, despite the excellent weather, we were in the Landesmuseum Hannover because we had an invitation to sketch there. Afterwards we enjoyed the beautiful inner courtyard.

Da wir es immer schaffen, in der Mittagshitze in den Städten rumzulaufen, werden auch immer viele Fotos mit schönen scharf konturierten Schatten gemacht. Als Vorlage zum Malen eignen sich die kontrastreichen Bildern dann sehr gut.

High Noon Church

Since we always manage to walk around the cities in the heat of the noon, many photos are taken with beautiful sharply contoured shadows. The high-contrast images are very suitable as a starting point for painting.

Zu Fuß erkundet man Lissabon am eindrucksvollsten.

In den Gassen der Alfama kann man sich eigentlich nicht groß verlaufen.

So lange man bergab geht, landet man irgendwann am Fluss.

Way to the Tejo

The most impressive way to explore Lisbon is by foot.

You can't really get lost in the alleys of the Alfama.

As long as you go downhill, you'll end up by the river.

In dem Lokal rechts rum kann man Coke kaufen. 

Mehr weiß ich leider nicht mehr über die Ecke in der Alfama.

Übrigens wird man an jeder zweiten Ecke in Lissabon angequatscht, ob man ein ähnlich klingendes Produkt käuflich erwerben möchte.

Oft hat man in Lissabon sehr schöne Blicke die Treppenstufen bergab. Manche Häuser sind steril und neu renoviert. Andere sind schön anzusehen weil sie eben noch ursprünglich sind. Auch in Lissabon erhält die AirBNB-Seuche inzwischen ungebremsten Schub und immer mehr Wohnraum wird für die Einheimischen fast unbezahlbar.

Often you have very nice views down the stairs in Lisbon. Some houses are sterile and newly renovated. Others are beautiful to look at because they are still original. In Lisbon, too, the AirBNB epidemic is now gaining unchecked momentum and more and more living space is becoming almost unaffordable for the locals.

Die kleinen Dreiräder gehören einfach ins Stadtbild von Lissabon. Inzwischen gibt es auch viele als Elektrogefährt, vor allem Tuk-Tuks, welche die Touristen auf Touren bringen.

These small tricycles simply belong in the cityscape of Lisbon. Meanwhile there are also many electric vehicles, especially tuk-tuks, which bring tourists on tour.
