101 Dalmatiner

100 Bilder und doch kein Ende? Nun, gestern gab es wieder unser regelmäßiges »Mittwochszeichnen«. Diesmal in der zentralen Stadtbibliothek. Und Donnerstags läuft noch der Aktzeichenkurs. Das, was jeweils dabei rauskommt, werde ich regelmäßig hier posten. Und da ich noch dutzende Malspinnereien im Kopf und in den Skizzenbüchern habe, wird's wohl auch nicht bei 101 bleiben.

100 images and yet no end? Well, yesterday our Urban Sketchin Troupers ransacked the central city library. And on Thursdays, there's still the nude sketching class. So, what comes out of this, will be at least posted here regularly. And because of my dozens of »painting fantasies« in my head and in my sketchbooks, it won't last at #101.
The titular Disney book stands in the second row of the right shelf, the third from the left.

Das charmante Kaffee in der Karmarschstraße ist nach dem Shopping oft unser erster Boxenstopp. Immer wieder lecker, hier nach der anstrengenden Rumlauferei einen »echten Hannoveraner Kaffee« aus frisch gerösteten Kaffeebohnen zu trinken.

Often this charming coffee house in the Karmarschstraße is our first pit stop after shopping. It's always delicious to drink here a "true Hanoverian coffee" made ​​from freshly roasted beans after an exhausting shopping marathon.

Letzte Urlaubsstation ist Freiburg im Breisgau. 

Im Arbeitszimmer unseres Gastgebers findet sich eine erlesene Bibliothek mit vielen antiken Büchern.

Schattenspiel

Da nun am Sonntag unverhofft freie Zeit war, nutze ich das schöne Wetter zu einigen Besichtungen. Schließlich war »Tag des offenen Denkmals«. Dieses exquisit mit Schlagmetall belegte Rankengeländer ziert die Wendeltreppe zur Predigtkanzel der Gartenkirche St. Marien.
Dem warmen Licht und dem herrlichen Schattenspiel konnte ich nicht widerstehen.

Shadow play
So I had some unexpected free time last Sunday. I took advantage of the nice weather and did some sightseeing. To my delight it was »Heritage Day«. This exquisitely finished composition gold ranks forms the railing. This decorates the spiral staircase to the pulpit of  St. Mary's, the »Garden Church«. I couldn't resist the warm light and the wonderful play of shadows.

Funky Kitchen

Leider fand der freudig erwartete Kochkurs »La Provence« am letzten Sonntag nicht statt. Dummerweise hatte man auch vergessen uns darüber zu informieren. Kurzerhand wurde improvisiert und am heimischen Herd ein gar köstliches Ratatouille aus noch vorhandenen Zutaten gezaubert.
Tagesbild: Lokal in Hannover mit leckerem Essen.

Unfortunately the joyfully expected cooking course »La Provence« does not take place. Stupidly they had forgotten to inform us about it. Without further ado, we improvised delicious ratatouille even pulled out of remaining ingredients.
