Elf kälteerprobte Sketchers fanden sich diesmal beim traditionellen Jahresabschluss der Urban Sketchers Hannover auf dem Roncalli Weihnachtsmarkt vor dem Hauptbahnhof ein. Ganz unerwartet schien für kurze Zeit an diesem Sonntagmorgen die Sonne. Eleven cold-tested sketchers gathered at the traditional end-of-year event of the Urban Sketchers Hannover at the Roncalli Christmas Market in front of the main railway station. Unexpectedly, the sun came out for a short time on this Sunday morning. Onze sketchers testés à froid se sont réunis lors de l'événement traditionnel de fin d'année des Urban Sketchers Hannover au marché de Noël de Roncalli, devant la gare centrale. De manière inattendue, le soleil a brillé pendant une courte période en ce dimanche matin.

Einer meiner Lieblingsorte in Frankreich ist immer noch Saint-Cirque-Lapopie. Wir waren damals mit einem Hausboot (einer Pénichette) auf dem Fluss Lot unterwegs. 

One of my favorite places in France is still Saint-Cirque-Lapopie. We were on a houseboat (a pénichette) on the River Lot back then. 

L'un de mes endroits préférés en France est toujours Saint-Cirque-Lapopie. Nous étions alors sur une Pénichette sur la rivière Lot.

Dieses Dorf hat keinen Fluss. Aber eine "gewachsene" Staffelung der Häuser. Gibt es hier im norddeutschen Flachland nicht. Darum findet man's wohl auch besonders schön.

This village has no river. But a “grown” staggering of the houses. You don't find that here in the north German lowlands. That's probably why people find it particularly beautiful.

Ce village n'a pas de rivière. Mais un échelonnement « adulte » des maisons. On ne trouve pas cela ici, dans la plaine du nord de l'Allemagne. C'est probablement la raison pour laquelle les gens le trouvent particulièrement beau.

Praktisch im Dunklen gemalt: Der Blick vom Beginenturm, den wir netterweise mit Erlaubnis des Historischen Museums Hannover besuchen durften. Unten der tolle Weihnachtsmarkt. Ganz hinten die verhüllte Marktkirche. Sieht momentan eher aus wie eine Miniaturausgabe des Empire State Buildings.

Practically painted in the dark: The view from the Begin Tower, which we were kindly allowed to visit with the permission of the Hanover Historical Museum. Below the great Christmas market. At the very back, the covered market church. At the moment, it looks more like a miniature version of the Empire State Building.

Pratiquement peinte dans l'obscurité : la vue depuis la tour Begin, que nous avons eu la gentillesse de visiter avec l'autorisation du musée historique de Hanovre. Sous le grand marché de Noël. Tout au fond, l'église du marché couvert. En ce moment, elle ressemble davantage à une version miniature de l'Empire State Building.

The commentary on the painting was basically this: “Unique contemporary testimony with a creative ventilation concept and generous wall permeability - post-apocalyptic living style meets adventure renovation! We spent the first day at my dear friend Niko's course today. It's all about “free” painting and “the next step” in painting. So first of all, let's croak freely and let's paint!

Nous avons passé la première journée au cours de mon cher ami Niko aujourd'hui. Il s'agit de la peinture « libre » et de « l'étape suivante » en peinture. Alors tout d'abord, cracher librement et peignons !
