Das ehemalige Schulschiff Deutschland liegt in Bremen Vegesack als Museums- und Hotelschiff vor Anker. Wir habe es gestern besichtigt, nachdem wir am Wochenende die Hochzeit von ganz lieben Freunden gefeiert haben. Ich wünsche euch alles Gute auf eurer Reise ins gemeinsame Eheleben.

The former training ship Germany is anchored in Bremen Vegesack as a museum and hotel ship. We visited it yesterday after celebrating the wedding of very dear friends at the weekend. I wish you all the best on your journey into your married life.

I actually wanted to show this motif yesterday as a watercolour demo. But then time was too short. Here I painted it as an acrylic sketch on watercolour paper.

Ein Spaziergang durch den kühlenden Wald endet hier an einer kleinen Lichtung auf  einer Obstwiese. Hier tummeln sich die Zecken im hohen Gras und finden schnell den Weg das Hosenbein rauf.

A walk through the cooling forest ends here at a small clearing on a pasture of fruit trees. Here the ticks romp in the high grass and quickly find their way up the trouser leg.
