 Am Sonntag war das Wetter hier in Hannover eine wahre Wonne. Auf den Stufen der Markuskirche konnte ich im T-Shirt sitzen und ganz in Ruhe "Urban Sketchen". Seufz.

Mal wieder eine freundliche "Challenge": Unter #virtualtravelsketch (#virtualsketch) startet die gleichnamige Facebookgruppe mit dem Skizzenthema der berühmten Route 66 von 2.451 Meilen (3.945 km) Länge quer durch die USA. Diese war eine der ersten befestigten Straßenverbindungen von Chicago nach Santa Monica. 

Once again a friendly "challenge": Under #virtualtravelsketch (#virtualsketch) the Facebook group of the same name starts with the sketch theme of the famous Route 66 of 2,451 miles (3,945 km) length across the USA. This was one of the first paved road connections from Chicago to Santa Monica.

Zum Karnevalsdienstag hat sich wenigstens dieses Haus verkleidet. Es ist jetzt schon mein "Bild der Woche", obwohl es farblich schon ziemlich in die Kategorie "Spinatbilder" fällt.

For Mardi Gras, at least this house has dressed up. It is  already my "painting of the week", although it falls in terms of colors pretty much falls into the category "spinach paintings".

Pour le mardi de carnaval, au moins cette maison s'est mise sur son trente-et-un. C'est déjà mon "tableau de la semaine", bien qu'il entre à peu près dans la catégorie "tableaux d'épinards".

Plötzlich finde ich die Dutzend Kabel vom Computer unter meinem Schreibtisch echt überschaubar, wenn ich mir diesen chinesischen Wirrwarr ansehe.

Ich musste sehr grinsen, als ich den Namen "GASBOY" auf der Zapfsäule las. Ob der wohl ganz dicht ist? Aber da ja Karnevalszeit ist, passt der "Jas-Jupp" ja ganz gut hier rein.

I had to grin a lot when I read the name "GASBOY" on the gas pump. I wonder if he is completely leak-proof. But since it's carnival time, the "Jas-Jupp" ("Gas-Joe") fits in quite well here.

J'ai dû beaucoup sourire quand j'ai lu le nom "GASBOY" sur la pompe à essence. Je me demande s'il est complètement étanche.
