Mein lieber Freund und Malerkollege Nikolaus von der Assen gibt 4 Tage lang seinen Meisterkurs "Freie Malerei" in "unserer" Kunstfabrik Hannover. Es ist toll, gemeinsam mit ihm zu malen und zu fachsimpeln. Ich habe mich inspirieren lassen, zu Beginn mal wieder Sonnenblumen zu malen.

My dear friend and fellow painter Nikolaus von der Assen is teaching his master class "Free Painting" for 4 days in the ArtFactory Hannover. It's great to paint and talk shop with him. I was inspired to start by painting sunflowers again.

Live in der U-Bahn auf einem Hocker zu sitzen und zu sketchen ... da wird man fast komplett ignoriert, weil jeder denkt, dass man bettelt.

Sitting live on a stool in the subway and sketching ... you're almost completely ignored because everyone thinks you're begging.

S'asseoir en direct sur un tabouret dans le métro et dessiner ... on est presque complètement ignoré parce que tout le monde pense que l'on mendie.

Wow - das war der Abschluss von "Inktober" und wirklich schwierig: Wie malt man ohne Farbe ein "Feuer"? Die Rauchschwaden bilden interessanterweise schöne kalligrafische Formationen.

Wow - that was the conclusion of "Inktober" and really challenging: how do you paint a "fire" without color? The smoke clouds interestingly form beautiful calligraphic formations.

Wow - c'était le début de "Inktober" et c'était très difficile : Comment l'homme peut-il faire un "feu" sans couleur ? Les dessins de la série "Rauchschwaden" présentent des formations kalligraphiques très intéressantes.

4457 Remove Bill

Heute wir es ein wenig albern: Nachdem Inktober mir den Begriff "Remove" (also Entfernen) vorgegeben hatte habe ich gegooglet, was man so entfernen kann. Komischerweise stand die Entfernung von Blutflecken da ganz oben auf der Liste. Und in Quentin Tarantinos Film ist es manchmal "schön" blutig und man fragt sich, wer den ganzen Kram danach wieder entfernt.

Today it gets a little ludicrous: After Inktober gave me the prompt "remove" I googled what can be removed. Strangely enough, the removal of blood stains was at the top of the list. And in Quentin Tarantino's film it is sometimes " nicely" bloody and one wonders who removes the whole stuff later.

Aujourd'hui, cela devient un peu ridicule : Après qu'Inktober m'a invité à "enlever", j'ai cherché sur Google ce qui pouvait être enlevé. Curieusement, l'élimination des taches de sang figurait en tête de liste. Et dans les films de Quentin Tarantino, les taches de sang sont parfois " joliment " sanglantes et l'on se demande qui les enlève à nouveau plus tard.

Das Thema bei Inktober heute war "Gefahr" - vom "Ink" sieht man nicht mehr viel, die Schlange hatte mich verführt, sie so farbig zu machen. Das ist eben die Gefahr, dass man sich von ihr verleiten lässt.

The prompt at Inktober today was "Dangerous" - you can't see much of the "Ink" anymore, the snake had tempted me to make it so colorful. That's just the danger that you can be tempted by her.

Le thème d'Inktober aujourd'hui était le "danger" - on ne voit plus grand-chose de l'"encre", le serpent m'avait séduite pour la rendre si colorée. C'est juste le danger qu'il y a à se laisser séduire par elle.

Poisson mort dans une eau peu profonde - "shallow" était le thème de la journée de l'Inktober d'aujourd'hui.

Einfach "himmlisch" war das heutige Thema bei Inktober. Also einen Himmel in Tusche zu zeichnen ist echt sauschwer.

Simply "celestial" was today's prompt at Inktober. To draw a sky in ink is really hard.

Tout simplement "céleste", tel était le thème d'Inktober aujourd'hui. Dessiner un ciel à l'encre de Chine est vraiment difficile.

Inktober TAG 21: Das Thema ist "Kette". Ich habe eine der größten FastFood-Ketten als Motiv gewählt. Diese in Freiburg hält sich werblich sehr dezent im Hintergrund und passt sich dem Stadtbild an. 

Inktober DAY 21: The theme is "chain". I have chosen one of the largest fast food chains as a motif. This one in Freiburg keeps advertising very discreetly in the background and fits into the cityscape.

Inktober DAY 21 : Le thème est "chaîne". J'ai choisi l'une des plus grandes chaînes de fast food comme motif. Celle de Fribourg reste très discrète et s'intègre bien dans le paysage urbain.

Inktober Thema: "Dämonen". Wisst ihr eigentlich, dass ich Clowns wirklich nicht mag? Und das nicht erst seit dem Buch "ES", in dem der böse Clown Pennywise seine Auftritte hat. Das Buch wiederum fand ich grandios und geschrieben und wenn jemand wirklich den Literatur-Nobelpreis verdienen würde, dann ist es meiner Ansicht nach Steven King.

Inktober theme: "Demons". Are you aware that I really don't like clowns? And not only since the book " IT ", in which the evil clown Pennywise has its appearances. By contrast, I thought that book was terrific and well-written, and if anyone really deserved the Nobel Prize for Literature, I think it would be Steven King.

Thème d'Inktober : "Démons". Savez-vous que je n'aime vraiment pas les clowns ? Et pas seulement depuis le livre " Ça ", dans lequel apparaît le clown maléfique Pennywise. En revanche, j'ai trouvé ce livre formidable et bien écrit, et si quelqu'un méritait vraiment le prix Nobel de littérature, je pense que ce serait Steven King.

Ein Blick auf den Eingang der Albertina - ein dolles Museum. Ich habe die Ausstellung „Michelangelo und die Folgen“ (Zeichnungen des männlichen Ideals) und die genialen Fotografien von Joel Sternfeld sehen dürfen. Danach war ich uneingeladen in einer Vernissage von Lucia Riccelli in der Kleinen Galerie - unter anderem war dort auch der Österreichische Bundespräsident.

I got to see the exhibition "Michelangelo and the Consequences" (drawings of the male ideal) and the brilliant photographs of Joel Sternfeld. Afterwards I was uninvited in a vernissage of Lucia Riccelli in the Small Gallery - among others the Austrian Federal President was there.

Une vue de l'entrée de l'Albertina - un grand musée. J'ai pu voir l'exposition "Michelangelo and the Consequences" (dessins de l'idéal masculin) et les brillantes photographies de Joel Sternfeld. Ensuite, j'ai assisté sans y être invitée à un vernissage de Lucia Riccelli dans la Petite Galerie - le président autrichien y était notamment présent.

Das zweite Bild ist eine eher lose Skizze eines französischen Ortes. Natürlich war die Frage von allen Mitmaler/innen: „Ist das auch Wien?“.

The second painting is a rather loose sketch of a French place. Of course, the question from all the fellow painters was, "Is that Vienna too?".

Beim Nützwoch-Treffen gab es den ersten Maltag in den SOHO Studios in Wien Ottakring. Ich habe ein typisch Wienerisches Motiv gewählt - das Café Kreuzberg ;)

At the Nützwoch meeting there was the first painting day at SOHO Studios in Vienna Ottakring. I have chosen a typical Viennese motif - the Café Kreuzberg ;) Fun fact: Kreuzberg is a typical neighborhood of Berlin.

Lors de la réunion de Nützwoch, il y a eu la première journée de peinture aux SOHO Studios à Vienne Ottakring. J'ai choisi un motif typiquement viennois - le Café Kreuzberg ;) Fait amusant : Kreuzberg est un quartier typique de Berlin.
