Die Löwenburg im Bergpark auf der Kasseler Wilhelmshöhe wurde am Ende des 18 Jahrhundert im Auftrag des Landgrafen Wilhelm IX von Hessen-Kassel als Lustschloss erbaut. es diente ihm und seiner Mätresse Karoline von Schlotheim als Wohnsitz. Mit ihren Zinnen, Türmchen und den zwei Zugbrücken erinnert sie mich an die Burg des verrückten Inspektor Dreyfuss aus dem Film "The Return of the Pink Panther". 

The Löwenburg (Lion's Castle) in the Bergpark on Kassel's Wilhelmshöhe was built at the end of the 18th century by order of Landgrave Wilhelm IX of Hesse-Kassel as a pleasure palace, serving as a residence for him and his mistress Karoline von Schlotheim. With its battlements, turrets and two drawbridges, it reminds me of the castle of the crazy Inspector Dreyfuss from the movie "The Return of the Pink Panther"

Le Löwenburg, situé dans le Bergpark sur la colline Wilhelmshöhe de Cassel, a été construit à la fin du 18ème siècle sur ordre du landgrave Wilhelm IX de Hesse-Cassel comme château de plaisance. Il lui servait de résidence ainsi qu'à sa maîtresse Karoline von Schlotheim. Avec ses créneaux, ses tourelles et ses deux ponts-levis, il me fait penser au château de l'inspecteur Dreyfuss, le fou du film "The Return of the Pink Panther".
