Nachdem ich gestern sehr viel Zeit in die Skizze des japanischen Hauses investiert hatte, gefiel es mir am nächsten Morgen nicht mehr. Es war zu bunt und zu wenig "snappy". So habe ich es kurzerhand abgeduscht (schluck!) und Dank der wasserfesten Tusche, die ich beim der Vorzeichnung benutzt habe, sind die Linien und ein leichter Farbschatten erhalten geblieben! Schreibt mir gerne, ob ihr auch schon einmal eins eurer Bilder mit unter die Dusche genommen habt :)
After I had invested a lot of time in the sketch of the Japanese house yesterday, I didn't like it the next morning. It was too colorful and not "snappy" enough. So I showered it off without further ado (gulp!) and thanks to the waterproof ink that I used in the preliminary drawing, the lines and a light color shadow remained! Feel free to write me if you have ever taken one of your paintings in the shower :)
Après avoir investi beaucoup de temps dans l'esquisse de la maison japonaise hier, je n'ai pas aimé le lendemain matin. C'était trop coloré et pas assez "accrocheur". Je l'ai donc lavé sans plus attendre (criez !) et grâce à l'encre imperméable que j'ai utilisée pour le dessin préliminaire, les lignes et une ombre de couleur claire sont restées ! N'hésitez pas à m'écrire si vous avez déjà emporté un de vos tableaux sous la douche :)

Begonnen habe ich dieses Bild umständehalber als digitale Zeichnung auf dem iPad. Die Linienzeichnung habe ich dann auf einfaches Aquarellpapier gedruckt und klassisch koloriert.
I started this painting circumstantially as a digital drawing on the iPad. I then printed the line drawing on simple watercolor paper and colored classically.
