Durch Google und co. lernt man viele Orte kennen, von denen man noch nie zuvor gehört hat. Leuchttürme in New England (USA) sind scheinbar alle recht malerisch.

Zu Beginn dieser Skizze dachte ich noch "was zur Hölle?"... Schließlich ist die Zeichnung doch noch ganz okay geworden. Vielleicht wird es mit 2021 so ähnlich?

Nachdem wir nun heulend und zähneklappernd über 2020 geklagt, gelitten, gejammert und lamentiert haben: Yippieh! Nur noch ein paar Stunden und diese Horrorversion eines Jahres geht endlich zu Ende. Ich mache das Beste aus der Situation und werde es mir vor einem warmen  Ofen mit Wein, Weib und Gesang bequem machen und (wie immer) ganz ohne Böller und Raketen in Demut und voller Hoffnung auf das neue Jahr warten. Nur vielleicht etwas "Stiller" als sonst! 

Now that we've been wailing and gnashing our teeth over 2020, suffering, whining and lamenting: Yippee! Just a few more hours and this horror version of a year finally comes to an end. I make the best of the situation and will make myself comfortable in front of a warm stove. Along with wine, woman and song and (as always) completely without firecrackers and rockets in a humble mood. Full of hope waiting for the new year. Only perhaps a little "Stiller" than usual! 

Maintenant que nous nous plaignons et grinçons des dents au-dessus de 2020, nous souffrons, nous pleurnichons et nous nous lamentons : Youpi ! Encore quelques heures et cette version d'horreur d'une année s'achève enfin. Je tire le meilleur parti de la situation et je me mets à l'aise devant un poêle chaud. Avec du vin, une femme et des chansons et (comme toujours) sans pétards ni fusées, dans une ambiance humble. Plein d'espoir dans l'attente de la nouvelle année. Peut-être seulement un peu plus "Stiller" que d'habitude !

So manch einer ist nun real eingeschränkt in seinem Bewegungsdrang. Ich vermeide auch momentan (außer Lebensmitteleinkauf) die meisten Kontakte zur realen Außenwelt. Schön, wenn man dann wenigstens via Internet seine Welt erkunden kann.

Many a person is now restricted in real terms in his urge to move. I also avoid most contacts to the real outside world at the moment (except grocery shopping). It's nice when you can at least explore your world via Internet.

Nombreux sont ceux qui sont aujourd'hui réellement limités dans leur envie de bouger. J'évite également la plupart des contacts avec le monde extérieur véritable en ce moment (sauf les courses). C'est bien quand on peut au moins explorer son monde via Internet.
