Ein weiterer nachempfundener Tiepolo - Das Bild war in unserem Kunstkalender und brachte mich zu Karneval auf diese Motivreihe. 

Another Tiepolo inspired artwork —the image was in our art calendar and inspired me to create this series of motifs for Carnival.

Die Vorlage für dieses Bild ist ein Fresco von Giovanni Domenico Tielpolo (ca. 1793). Die Szene zeigt mehrere Figuren des Pulcinella - eine klassische Figur der Comedia Dell'Arte. Fand ich passen für den Rosenmontag und hat Spaß gemacht nachzuzeichnen.

The template for this image is a fresco by Giovanni Domenico Tielpolo (ca. 1793). The scene depicts several characters from Pulcinella, a classic character from the Commedia dell'Arte. I thought it was fitting for Rose Monday and had fun redrawing it.

Le modèle de cette image est une fresque de Giovanni Domenico Tielpolo (vers 1793). La scène représente plusieurs personnages de Pulcinella, un personnage classique de la Commedia dell'Arte. J'ai trouvé que cela convenait bien au lundi des Roses et j'ai pris beaucoup de plaisir à la redessiner.

The year for Urban Sketchers Hannover started a little late this time, in February. But as always, it began at Hannover's New Town Hall.

Ich lese gerade viele Krimis von Oscar de Muriel, die in der viktorianischen Zeit spielen. Einer davon (A Mask of Shadows) spielt im Theatermilieu. Darum hat mich das wohl zu diesem Porträt heute inspiriert.

I'm currently reading a lot of crime novels by Oscar de Muriel, which are set in the Victorian era. One of them (A Mask of Shadows) is set in the theater world. That's probably what inspired me to paint this portrait today.

Je lis actuellement beaucoup de romans policiers d'Oscar de Muriel qui se déroulent à l'époque victorienne. L'un d'entre eux (A Mask of Shadows) se déroule dans le milieu du théâtre. C'est sans doute ce qui m'a inspiré ce portrait aujourd'hui.
