Gestern und heute also Frankreich. Das ist ein Blick auf das auf den Klippen des linken Lot-Ufers gelegenen Örtchens Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. Dort haben wir vor gefühlt 20 Jahren bei einer Urlaubsfahrt mit dem Pénichette-Hausboot angelegt und ich bin mit dem Boots-Klapprad den steilen Weg bergauf geradelt. um im Ort Baguettes und Croissants fürs Frühstück zu erstehen. Mein Schwager und ich können uns immer noch gut an die schöne Bäckerin erinnern.

So yesterday and today France. This is a view of the little village of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, situated on the cliffs of the left bank of the Lot. We docked there 20 years ago on a vacation trip with the Pénichette houseboat and I cycled up the steep path with the folding bike to buy baguettes and croissants for breakfast in the village. My brother-in-law and I can still remember the beautiful baker girl well.

Donc hier et aujourd'hui la France. Voici une vue du petit village de Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, situé sur les falaises de la rive gauche du Lot. Nous y avons accosté il y a 20 ans lors d'un voyage avec la Pénichette et j'ai remonté le chemin escarpé avec le vélo pliant pour acheter des baguettes et des croissants pour le petit-déjeuner dans le village. Mon frère-conjoint et moi nous souvenons encore bien de la belle boulangère.

Am Mittwoch saßen wir in der ersten Etage eines großen Buchladens und schauten auf die Bahnhofstraße von Hangover City. Die Nacht dräute und hinter den Fenstern gingen die Lichter langsam aus. 

On Wednesday, we found ourselves sitting on the second floor of a large bookstore, looking out onto Hangover City's Station Street. Night was falling and the lights were slowly dimming behind the windows.

Mercredi, nous étions assis au premier étage d'une grande librairie et nous regardions la rue de la gare de Hangover City. La nuit était fraîche et les lumières s'éteignaient lentement derrière les fenêtres.

Last week I tried "on the side" to sketch 100 people in 1 week. It took a few hours longer but now it's done. Here is the 1st part (1-40).

La semaine dernière, j'ai essayé "en passant" de dessiner 100 personnes en une semaine. Cela m'a pris quelques heures de plus, mais c'est maintenant chose faite. Voici la 1ère partie (1-40).

Bei Temperaturen nahe dem Gefrierpunkt haben wir uns mit 16 Leuten am Thielenplatz in Hannover zum Sketchen getroffen. Die Komposition hat etwas unter den Temperaturen gelitten ;)

At temperatures close to freezing point we met with 16 people at Thielenplatz in Hannover for sketching. The composition suffered a bit from the temperatures ;)

Par des températures proches de zéro, nous nous sommes retrouvés à 16 sur la Thielenplatz à Hanovre pour faire des sketches. La composition a un peu souffert des températures ;)
