Wetterfahnen

Weiter geht es in Richtung Aegi und räumlich schon mal in Richtung des ersten Ausstellungsortes meiner Daily Paintings. Dieses Bild  habe ich bereits einmal als Aquarell gemalt (siehe #0218). Heute folgt die »lockererere« Acrylversion, welche ich komplett mit Bob geschwammt habe.

Weather Vanes
My trip through Hanover continues towards the »Aegi« and geographically nearer toward the venue of my first exhibition of daily paintings. This image I've already been painted in watercolors (see #0218). Today follows the "loosererer" acrylic version, which I completely sponged with Bob.

0218 Aegi

wird der Aegidientorplatz neckisch von den Hannoveranern genannt. Hier stand das mittelalterliche südöstliche Stadttor bis 1763, nach dem Siebenjährigen Krieg, die Schleifung der Festungsanlagen begann.

This is how the Square of the Aegidien gate coquettishly is beeing called by the Hanoverians. Here the south-eastern medieval city gate stood until 1763, after the Seven Years' War, until the razing of the fortifications began.
