Gestern nachmittag war fast frühlingshaftes Wetter und ich habe ein paar Skizzen im Stadtteil List machen können.

Yesterday afternoon was almost spring-like weather and I was able to make some sketches in the district List.

2725 Eisvogel

Eisvögel sind Stoßtaucher. Wenn er seine Beute entdeckt, stürzt er sich schräg nach vorn und unten kopfüber ins Wasser. Als ausgestopfter Bursche  jagt dieser nichts mehr. 

Kingfishers are push divers. When it discovers its prey, it throws itself diagonally forward and down headlong into the water. As a stuffed fellow, this one hunts nothing more. 

Les martins-pêcheurs sont des plongeurs poussés. Lorsqu'il découvre sa proie, il se jette en diagonale vers l'avant et vers le bas, tête baissée dans l'eau. En tant qu'homme en peluche, il ne chasse plus rien.

Ein "denkwürdiger" dritter und letzter Tag beim Workshop mit Stefan Nuetzel in der Kunstfabrik Hannover. Diese vermittelte Maltechnik mag ich schon sehr gern und sie kommt meiner eigenen schon recht nah. 

A "memorable" third and last day at the workshop with Stefan Nuetzel at the Kunstfabrik Hannover. I already like this painting technique very much and it comes quite close to my own. 

Une troisième et dernière journée "mémorable" à l'atelier avec Stefan Nuetzel à la Kunstfabrik Hannover. J'aime beaucoup cette technique de peinture et elle se rapproche beaucoup de la mienne.
