Beim Fischhändler mussten wir heute länger warten. Dann gab es aber doch noch etwas (natürlich ökologisch-politisch korrektes) Lachsfischlein für uns. Red Snapper ist zu gefährlich.

We had to stand in line @ the fishmonger a bit longer today. But fortunately there still was a nice piece of salmon left for us. (Of course, ecologically and politically correct one.) Red Snapper is too dangerous.

1701 wurde dieser Hauseingang oder das dahinter stehende Haus gebaut. Das Ganze steht in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, in der Nähe der Anstalt, in die sich Van Gogh zeitweilig eingeliefert hatte und die er kurz vor seinem Selbstmord bewohnte.

In 1701, the house or the entrance was probably built to house behind it. It is situated in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, near the asylum, in which Van Gogh had admitted himself temporarily, short before his suicide.

Rost Rad

Ganz so verrostet ist mein Fahrrad zum Glück noch nicht. Als bekennender Schönwetterfahradfahrer muss ich bei diesem hannoveraner Märzwetter wohl immer noch etwas warten, bis ich die Kette ölen darf.

My bike isn't as rusty as this, fortunately. But as a commited fair weather cyclist, I probably have to wait a bit longer until I can oil the chain, since the Hanoverian March weather still is so crappy.
