Puerto Naos

Noch einmal Palmen auf La Palma. Bei unserem Besuch im November war der Strand nur eine Großbaustelle. Inzwischen dürfte die Strandpromenade restauriert und neu gestaltet sein. 

Once again the palms of La Palma. On our visit in November the beach was a huge construction site. Meanwhile, the promenade should be restored and redesigned.

Nein, es ist nicht alles vorbei...auch wenn das Bild Schlimmes vermuten lässt. Der zertrümmerte Schädel (Ziegenkopf?) begegnete mir auf einer kleinen Wanderung in den Bergen rund um Los Llanos. Und nun war es an der Zeit ihn zu malen.

Laterna Magica

Eine Laterna Magica ist natürlich etwas ganz anderes, aber irgendwie schien die untergehende Sonne schon recht geheimnisvoll in und durch die Straßenlaterne eines Eckhauses in Puerto de Tazacorte.

Of course a laterna magica is something very different, but somehow the setting sun seemed to illuminate quite mysterious this street lamp in a corner house in Puerto de Tazacorte.

Zwischen den einzelnen, oft riesigen Bananenplantagen auf La Palma gibt es immer mal wieder wunderschöne Häuser, die sich hoch über den Wipfeln einen Blick aufs offene Meer gönnen.
