Gestern ging es mit dem Zug von Padua hierhin.

1726 Plätze in Padua

Padua hat sehr viele schöne Marktplätze, auf denen ganztägig der Bär steppt. Hier kann man den ganzen Tag verbringen und skizzieren oder Aperol Spritz trinken.

Wieso "oder"?

Padua has some great squares where you can sit all day long sketching around or drink a 'Spritz'.

1725 Padova

Gestern sind wir in Venedig gelandet. Mit dem Busitalia ging die Fahrt dann gleich weiter in die schöne Stadt Padua. Viele der Straßen sind von Arkaden gesäumt, die zum Flanieren und Skizzieren in einem Caffè einladen.

Yesterday we landed in Venice. By Busitalia we went on into the beautiful city of Padua. Many of the streets are lined with arcades, which invite you to stroll and sit in a caffè an sketch..

Gestern beim Workshop in Münster habe ich mich dann wie meine Teilnehmerinnen an der Paprika versucht (Zeit ca. 45 min inklusive Geplapper plus 10 min Zuhause fürs Finishing.) Wieder sind viele gute und schöne Arbeiten entstanden. Weiter so!!

Yesterday at the workshop in Münster. I did a pepper demo as well as the participants (time 45 minutes including chattering plus 10 minutes for the finishing at home.) The kids did a great job and I enjoyed the time with them. Keep it up!

Nachdem diese Arbeit ein paar Wochen herumlag, habe ich sie gestern noch einmal nachbearbeitet und lasse es nun so. Aquarell muss halt auch regelmäßig weiter geübt werden, damit man es nicht verlernt. Das Bild zeigt einen Straßenzug mit Blick auf das Chrysler Building in NYC.

After this work was lying around for a few weeks, I have reworked it yesterday. I leave it this way. Watercolor must be practiced regularly... The painting shows one block overlooking the Chrysler Building in NYC.

1704 Kastanienblüte

• Acryl auf selbstklebender Leinwand auf 19 mm Spanplatte - 15,1 x 15,1 cm •
• Acrylic on stick-on canvas on 0.75 inch chipboard 6 x 6 inches •

Gemalt wurde das Bild auf eine aufklebbare Leinwand.
Zu Testzwecken habe ich diese auf eine 19 mm starke Spanplatte geklebt. I painted on a stick-on canvas.
For testing purposes, I fixed it on a 0.75 inch chipboard.

Das Foto zeigt die eigentlich eher unscheinbare Blüte. The photo shows the actually rather unimpressive flower.

Heute hat unsere Kübel-Kastanie nach etlichen Jahren wieder einmal eine Blütenknospe hervorgebracht. Damit etwas Interessantes daraus entsteht, habe ich einen Ausschnitt gesucht und eine interessante Farbgebung gewählt.

I cropped the image and chose a more interesting color scheme.
