Weltgeschichte Teil I

Auch wenn es noch März ist, herrscht bereits Aprilwetter. Abwechselnd gab es heute Regen, Hagel, Wolken und Sonne. Berge gibt es Hannoverschen Tiefebene allerdings keine.

Even though it is still March, April weather already prevails. There was rain, hail, clouds and sun in turns. However, mountains are still missing in the Hanoverian lowlands.

Zweihundert

Jetzt sind also bereits doppelt so viele Daily Paintings geworden, wie ursprünglich geplant. Heute eine Marktkirchen-Skizze für ein größeres Bild. 
Zur Feier des Tages ist meine neue Herausforderung, mich nun aktiv auf eine Ausstellung der Daily Paintings vorzubereiten. Mehr dazu gibt es aber wohl frühestens im April zu verkünden. Bis dahin könnt ihr gerne weiter fleißig Bilder reservieren.


Two Hundred
Now, twice as many daily paintings have been painted, as I originally had planned. Today, another market churches sketch for an upcoming larger painting.
In celebration of the day, here is my new challenge: I am now actively preparing for an exhibition of my daily paintings. More is probably to announce in April. Until then you may like to reserve more dailies.

Marktkirche III

Gestern waren wir noch einmal in der Hannoveraner Marktkirche. Diesmal ging uns der Organist verlustig.
Ich erinnerte mich an die schönen Zeichnungen Robert Delaunays.
Morgengibt es mein 200. »Daily Painting«.

Yesterday again the Hanoverian market church. This time we were deprived of the organist. I remembered the beautiful drawings of Robert Delaunay.

Eine weniger bunt gestrichene, dafür aber extrem gut verkabelte Ecke in Saint-Leu auf Réunion. Eines meiner wenigen Bilder, die wohl am 29. Februar entstehen werden.
Manche Tage kann man meinetwegen auch weglassen.

Wired
A less brightly painted, but extremely well-wired corner of Saint-Leu on Reunion Island. One of my few images that will probably created on a 29th Feb.
Anyway, some days could be really left out completely.

0197 Gewellt

Auf Réunion im Indischen Ozean geht es gemächlich zu. Die Häuser sind farbenfroh und haben zumeist Wellblechdächer. Bezahlt wird auch in 9.000 km Entfernung alles mit Euro, da die Insel ein französisches Übersee-Département ist.

New Wave
On the Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean, everything is easy going. The houses are colorful and often have corrugated iron roofs. Even 9.000 km away you pay everything with Euros, as the island is a French overseas department.

Ein Traum in lachs, mauve und indigo. Womit der erste Farbteil perfekt unser sonntägliches Ess- und Kochvergnügen beschreibt. Morgens geräuchert und abends sautiert.

A dream in salmon, mauve and indigo. Whereas the first color describes our Sunday cooking pleasure perfectly. Smoked salmon in the morning and sautéed for dinner.

Nun ist es auch im schönen Nachbarstaat soweit.
Die französische »Mademoiselle« ist mausetot.
Jedenfalls als offizielle Anrede.
Hätte ich mal vergangenen Mittwoch nicht »Das Frollein« so bemüht.

Frauncay-Frauncay
Finally, also in our beloved neighboring state, the times they are a changing .The French »Mademoiselle« is dead as a dodo. At least so they say for the official title of young Madames. If I only had not forced it too much with my titling last Wednesday.

Blaumachen

Auf dem heutigen Daily Painting seht ihr einen alten Morris in Swaledale vor dem Buck Hotel. Was ihr wahrscheinlich lieber gesehen hättet, ist der Maler, wie er sich beim Schütteln der blauen Acrylfarbe Gesicht und Haare blaumacht.
Immer dran denken, den Deckel wieder zuzumachen.

Making Blue
 (means in German to skive off)Today's daily painting peeks an old Morris in Swaledale before the Buck Hotel. I think you would have prefered to see the painter as he turned blue by shaking the blue acrylic paint over his face and hair.
Always remember to put the lid back.
