Die Vernissage am Samstag war übrigens sehr angenehm und schön. Ich danke noch einmal allen Gästen, die viel gute Laune mitbrachten, angeregt über meine Bilder diskutierten, mitunter staunten und herzhaft lachten und sogar einige Bilder erwarben.

Die gestrige Vernissage war... nun ich kann es beim Verfassen dieses Textes noch nicht sagen. In 90 Minuten werde ich mehr wissen. Und wer heute hier nachschaut, weil er meine Bilder gestern in der Ausstellung gesehen hat, fühle sich besonders begrüßt. Nixie

Manchmal ist eine Studie (siehe gestern) ja nur eine Ausrede, wenn's schnell gehen soll oder das Bild nicht so gelungen ist. Manchmal ist eine Studie aber auch nur eine Studie: Darum gibt es heute das nochmals größer umgesetzte Bild der Nixe.

Ja, ich kenne auch den alten Kalauer, dass die Hannoveraner Männer ihre Frauen an der Leine spazierenführen. Ein weiteres (größerformatiges) Motiv von »Kopfüber«. 
Ebenfalls auf dem Kopf stehend gemalt. Nicht ich! Das Motiv!

Ach ja, beinahe vergessen: Frohe Ostertage!

There's an very (very very) old joke, that the Hanoverian men walk their wives on the line. (Which is a play on the words »Leine« (for leash) and »Leine« which is the main stream in Hanover. One could say, to be online is mainstream in Hanover. And so on and on and on.

Einfach mal abhängen

Ich finde das eigentlich blöd, was der Baselitz da immer macht. Andererseits habe ich das Experiment genossen und heute ebenfalls mal ein gut abgehangenes Motiv für euch. 
Muss man das jetzt dann auch falsch herum aufhängen? 
Ich finde »vielleicht« ist die richtige Antwort.

I normally thought that's really stupid, what Mr. Baselitz does. On the other hand I enjoyed the experiment and it's now a hanging-out girl. 
Question: Does ít have to be hung this way ? 
I think »maybe« is the correct answer.

Erstmals in England, wusste ich nicht, was das sein soll, das da auf dem gelben Schild stand. »HGV?« »Hepatitis G Virus«? Mitten auf der Straße? Wohl eher »Heftig Große Vehikel«. Das traf es dann fast. Heißt also: »Heavy Goods Vehicle«. Na, bei uns heißt's ja auch »Laster«.

For the first time in England, I did not know what that yellow sign would mean. »Holy God Verses«? »Hepatitis G Virus«? On the middle of the road? My first reaction was to run away as quick as could!
