Today I tried a new approach to abstract images. I really don't know what that is. But that's somehow not surprising considerincg non-representational work. I like the result, and the painting was a lot of fun.

What would be an early morning in the South of France without the aroma of fresh baguette, which flows from the boulangerie? Besides you're sitting with a delicious cafe au lait at a bar @ the village square and you are looking at the returning stray cats fleeing from the dogs, which just woke up.

Ich wusste am Anfang gar nicht, dass es eine liegende Frau wird. Wie so oft hat sich die Dame aus einer Skizze für etwas ganz anderes ergeben. Schön, wenn man offen bleibt, für das, was sich aus einer Grundierung oder Untermalung ergibt.

The naked truth:
At the beginning I didn't knew that it will lead to a lying woman. (Why is lying and lying the same word in English?) As it often happens to be, the lady has resulted from a sketch for something completely different. Nice if you remain open-spirited to what arises from a priming or underpainting.

Eine schön rekonstruierte Dorfstraße im Heimatmuseum Nyköping (Schweden). Viele Orte halten die alten Häuser intakt und man stattet sie mit zeitgemäßen Requisiten aus. Oft ist der Eintritt gratis oder man kann eine Spende hinterlassen. Hier allerdings ein großes Dorf mit vielen Attraktionen wie Schule, Seilmacherei, Apotheke und einem Flottenkapitän, der Rundgänge moderiert.

A beautifully reconstructed village street in the museum Nykoping (Sweden). Many places keep the old houses in order and they are equipped with contemporary props. Often the entry is free or you can leave a donation. This museum village has attractions such as pharmacy, sailors, ropemakery and school.
